Long recognized as a “go- to source” for all things mental health, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) offers a wide variety of information and services for those in need.
The National Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (NCEED) is the nation’s first center of excellence dedicated to eating disorders. Founded in 2018 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, our mission is to advance education and training of healthcare providers and to promote public awareness of eating disorders and eating disorder treatment.
Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (F.E.A.S.T.) is an international organization of and for parents and caregivers to help loved ones recover from eating disorders by providing information and mutual support, promoting evidence- based treatment, and advocating for research and education to reduce the suffering associated with eating disorders.
The Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) is a global, multidisciplinary professional organization that provides cutting- edge professional training and education; inspires new developments in eating disorders research, prevention, and clinical treatments; and is the international source for state- of- the- art information in the field of eating disorders.
